We had another low key, yet still somehow busy, weekend in Charlotte. Why do weekends go by so fast? Why are they only 2 days? Whyyyy.
Anyways, we kicked off Friday with pizza, wine, and watching the Olympics opening ceremonies with some friends 🙂

Saturday morning I did my 4 mile run and then the rest of the day was lots of errands and little wedding planning to-do’s. Sunday was much of the same, except my workout was some yoga at home with Craig. I shouldn’t neglect to mention our Sunday morning breakfast…bagels! I get a craving for a breakfast sandwich every now and then and luckily Craig was also craving 🙂

Coffee and bagels it was! I got an egg white, turkey sausage, and cheddar cheese on an asiago cheese bagel.
So, we had some pretty delicious food but got our workouts in so feeling pretty balanced and happy 🙂 And the wedding to-do list is getting smaller and smaller sure enough. Can’t wait for it all to come together!
Sunday night dinner was a little healthier than pizza…stir fry with green beans, zucchini, mushrooms, and asparagus with baked chicken marinated in italian dressing plus some turmeric and pepper.

Off to watch Bachelor in Paradise tonight. Who else watches this stuff? My friend Emily and I watch and while it’s a great excuse to drink wine in the middle (or beginning) of the week and hang out with friends, it’s also just stupidly entertaining. This is my first time giving Bachelor in Paradise a go…I will watch Bachelor and Bachelorette but always thought Paradise seemed silly. Well…it is. But I’m still going to watch because it is funny 🙂
xo,
Bess
