Our (2nd) Pregnancy Announcement!

After suffering through a heartbreaking loss back in August, we are so overjoyed to share that we are pregnant!  Emma will be a big sister come September <3  After going through a miscarriage, the enormity of the miracle of pregnancy is palpable.  It is an amazing blessing that we are so appreciative to receive and we are so grateful to God for this incredible gift.  I also have to say, that if you’re struggling with pregnancy loss or infertility, that my heart is with you.  I know how it feels and how hard it is, and I pray for each of you going through that time of waiting.

I will write another post soon about the feelings of pregnancy after loss and how it’s so different already from my first experience, but ultimately I am trusting in God and trying my hardest not to let fear be the dominating emotion throughout this pregnancy.  I want to feel all the same joys as I did with Emma, and I don’t want to do a disservice to my child and this precious gift by allowing fear to get the best of me.  With God, I know that I can do it.  So for now, please enjoy these sweet photos we took for our pregnancy announcement 🙂 and thank you, thank you so much to every single one of you who reached out to me over the past 8 months with prayers and words of encouragement…for keeping me and my family in your prayers.  I am equally as deeply grateful to all of you!
