Hi friends! Hope y’all had a great weekend. I know I did! We had a busy weekend just doing stuff around the house…we renovated our fireplace which was a fun little “flip” of a task! I’ll share the before picture below. Can’t wait to show you the after! Just waiting on a few decor pieces to arrive to finish it off, then I will share 🙂
Friday night we did a little sushi date night!
Then Saturday AM I was up and had my ezekiel toast + PB + banana breakfast before my run.
And coffee of course! Necessary!
I did 5 miles and it was such a great run. Then Craig and I got to work on the fireplace…ripping it off the wall and starting fresh on our new design!
Here’s the before:
We didn’t sit down until about 10pm…we ate ice cream for dinner, watched a documentary (aka I fell asleep on the couch) then called it a night!
Sunday we got up and got bagels (no picture since I was scarfing it down in the car so we wouldn’t be late to church!) then church. We got there just in time before it started 🙂 On the way home we made the usual grocery store stop to stock up for the week…including extra snacks & waters since it appears Hurricane Florence is coming for us. Say a prayer y’all!
I did a little 3 mile jog around the neighborhood mostly to just get the blood flowing because my legs felt kinda heavy. Then I helped Craig finish up the fireplace just in time to watch the Panther’s game that kicked off at 4:30. The cats won Game #1…woooo! I made us some crockpot chili for dinner and it was a lovely day 🙂
Overall a good weekend and very productive!
