Weekend Recap

Hi friends! I hope you had a good weekend 🙂 Ours was really fun, we had a dinner date Friday night, got Christmas card pictures taken on Saturday, then went to the Panthers game on Sunday!!

Friday’s dinner date was at Village Tavern…I’ve been really into sitting at the bar in restaurants lately.  It’s so cozy!  And it makes me stealing Craig’s french fries easier because they are closer to me…muahaha!

Forgot to snap pics of the food but I got the Thai Chicken Salad and Craig got a burger & fries.  We both got whiskey cocktails to start 🙂

Here was my date night outfit but I ended up changing into this top because it was a little cooler than I was anticipating!  I don’t know if y’all can see my black tassel earrings but they are my new favorites.

Saturday I was up and got my run in.  Just 5 miles because that’s really all I was feeling! I had lots of chores and errands around the house I needed to do anyways so didn’t go quite as far as my longer runs have been lately of 7, 8 or 9 miles.  Work has also kicked my butt the past couple of weeks with travel and such so I’ve been kinda tired!

I also had to start getting ready earlier in the afternoon because we were heading to take Christmas card photos!! Here’s a little sneak peek.

Then we were both craving Chic-fil-a so we got that on the way home.  I had my wine & nuggets for dinner and was happy as a clam!! Lol.

Sunday we were up early to hit the tailgate before the Panthers game!!  And they won which is always a great time, made even sweeter by the fact we beat our rival Atlanta in the process.  Sorry Falcons fans 🙂 I also HAVE TO HAVE Bojangles when I’m tailgating.  We hit the drive through and I got me a chicken biscuit…so gooooood.

I took this BackPack Wine with me to the tailgate and the rose was perfect because I don’t typically drink during the day, ha, but this was super light and a great amount to sip on.

After the game we swung by Whole Foods to get the salad bar.  I dumped pretty much everything into mine 🙂

I ate a lot of it then saved the rest for lunch today.  It was a great weekend and I CAN NOT WAIT to share our Christmas Card pictures with y’all!! My friend/photographer Deanna took them for us and I think they’re going to be gorgeous!
