This past weekend Craig & I went to Hendersonville, where he is from and where his parents still live (Hiiiii Becky if you’re reading this!) for a little family reunion of sorts…and of course we always love a trip to the mountains. For those of you who don’t know and just for reference, Hendersonville is pretty close to Asheville. Not everyone has heard of Hendo but most people have heard of Asheville 🙂
We arrived Friday night for night 1 of the family gathering! Lots of food (BBQ specifically!) and wine to go around. And these mystery cookies from Sam’s club that were the most amazing things ever, I seriously ate about 12 of them. Must. Find. These. Cookies. They’re like super flat with chocolate on the bottom and the top is sort of like a drizzled toffee maybe?! Sounds familiar to anyone?!!

Saturday AM I was up early…Craig went fishing and I decided to go to a local park for a little run. I set out to do 6, but when my father in law asks me to run a couple for him, I do just that! So, I did 8 and it was a lovely way to start the day.
The rest of the day consisted of a shower, lunch, nap, then a taco night for night 2 of the family gathering! It was still a little warm when we left for dinner, in the 60s, but very quickly I put my sweater on!
Sunday I was too lazy to take any pics but we started off the day with donuts…then bagels…then we headed home 🙂 Relaxed watched football, and got ready for the week.
I will be traveling this week to Charleston for work so I may miss a post or two on here!! But I’ll still be updating on Instagram so head over there…PS I have a giveaway coming to you both on Wednesday AND Thursday of this week so you’ll def wanna be following 🙂
