Hey y’all, I hope your Monday has been amazing!
I hope that you took some of my words from my email I sent out to heart today and put them in practice just as I did. I loved sharing my motivation for Monday and hopefully some of it rang true to you as inspiration. I sincerely want to dig deeper here on this blog and share ideas and support…I know you have dreams you want to see come true. We all do! I want to be a source of support for that. I plan to create some helpful resources to share with you all because I know we are a bunch of girl bosses just screaming to get out 🙂 I would love it if you wanted to sign up to receive my emails and join in on the fun. Alright so back to my weekend highlight reel 🙂
Friday I was dead tired so we stayed in and had a cozy night… I was asleep by 10! I also may have had both frozen pizza AND chipotle for dinner. That’s what happens on Friday afternoons when the only thing in your house is a frozen pizza, you’re starving, and your husband doesn’t get home for another hour or 2. I had to make the pizza for a snack but of course ended up eating three pieces!!! LOL oh well. It was good. I don’t regret a thing.
Besides, all that pizza (and my bagel sandwich + iced coffee below) fueled our 7+ mile hike up Grandfather Mountain! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my Instagram stories videos…about our tough hike, the amazing views from the top, and how I busted my you know what on the way back down. Just some scrapes and bruises though, no big deal!
We got back late Saturday night (crushed Chic-fil-a in the car for dinner on the way home) and saw this amazing sunset…
We had to enjoy it from the highway but still…breathtaking. When we got home we watched some Netflix on the couch before going to bed. Also in case you’re wondering, I’m still sore today from the hike!
