LBD for Rehearsal Dinner

This weekend Craig and I went to Wrightsville Beach to celebrate the beautiful wedding of an even more beautiful couple who just so happen to be two of our very dear friends.

Friday I was able to join the ladies for a cruise of the habor.  I would say booze cruise, but that doesn’t sound as classy as ours! (Okay fine, until the 90s rap came on and the boat turned into a spontaneous dance party) But we did have cheese & crackers, fruit, and mini pimiento cheese sandwiches.  So…definitely ladylike 😉

Friday night was the rehearsal dinner and I wore this dress.  I just picked it up a couple of weeks ago.  I love the fit of it, as I am able to wear it without a bra because the straps are adjustable. You could however easily wear a strapless bra with it if you preferred.  You can really never go wrong with an Little Black Dress but in case you want some color, this dress also comes in pink and blue.

I wore my favorite wedges with it, and paired a matching tan purse to go with it.  Mine is old, but you can find similar ones here and here.  Also, you can’t really see in the picture above, but I’m wearing two of my favorite new Kendra Scott pieces and I have them layered.  I got this bracelet in both rose gold and crushed ivory pearl.  I have been wearing them layered since I got them and I love how summery they look with the dainty rope style band but still able to be dressy because of the gorgeous center stone.

My necklace I have had for years and I love it.  It’s from Teal House Collection.  Phone case is covered in pineapples (naturally) because my summer pineapple obsession continues.
