Easter Weekend Recap + Important Notice!!

I had plans to put up my weekend recap on Sunday afternoon when I got back to Charlotte, but I laid on my bed and did nothing instead.  Sorry not sorry 🙂

That’s not to say that my weekend was not worth recapping…it was!  I was just feeling lazy.  So, here we go now!

Craig and I went to Hendersonville for the weekend to stay with his parents and visit the fam. The weekend included watching lots of basketball (aka staying up too late), spontaneous Easter egg hunts, brewery visits, haunted comedy bus tours, delicious food, and more.

Friday night Craig and I did an early date night on our own at West First.  We both got personal pizzas (I got the gluten free margherita pizza) and wine!

On Saturday we went to a cidery to start, and upon arrival we found out that an adult easter egg hunt was about to start!  Perfect timing.  Craig and I both found an egg.  Mine only had candy in it but Craig got a free pint glass which was pretty cool. After that we all headed over to Sierra Nevada Brewery which is a pretty spectacular place if you’ve never been.  If you’re ever in the Asheville area, you should go visit.

Once we were done at Sierra Nevada, we were on to Asheville for an early dinner before doing the LaZoom haunted comedy tour.  We ate at Salsa’s which is a Mexican Caribbean restaurant.  I got a pineapple mojito and the Cazuela Pollo & Shrimp entree, which was a huge bowl full of chicken, shrimp, avocado sauce, rice, beans, and salsa.  It also had some cantaloupe thrown in which was nice and balanced out the spiciness!

The LaZoom Haunted Comedy tour was SO MUCH FUN.  Everyone agreed our cheeks hurt from laughing the entire time.  Absolutely hysterical.  Another must if you are in the Asheville area!  Here’s a shot of our tour guide…climbing all over the seats.  That was probably one of the more normal things he did over the course of the hour! 🙂 

On Sunday we went to church to celebrate Easter and then had a lovely brunch at home with so many goodies!

It’s safe to say that I had serious Sunday Blues after this weekend was over.  Probably why I wanted to lay on my bed and pretend like it wasn’t happening!
