It’s that time of year again, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here and while I haven’t really gone too big on the shopping the past couple of years like I used to, I do still think it’s a great opportunity to find key items you may have your eye on for fall at a discounted price. I’m going to show y’all what items are on my wish list and also give a little tip for how you can make your shopping a little easier once the sale opens up.
NSALE 2020 Key Dates
First off, here are some key dates you can keep in mind. Icon early access starts tomorrow:
You can apply for a Nordstrom Card to get early access if you want. I do have a Nordstrom Card and enjoy the perks of earning Nordstrom notes (basically money towards future purchases) and free alterations, among other things. They’re offering a $60 note towards future purchases right now if you do. If you don’t want to open a card, no biggie! The sale will open to everyone on the 19th. Some things may sell out prior to that, but from what I’ve noticed over the past couple of years is that they will generally restock many items and they also will add new things throughout the sale.
Make Your Wish List Now
To make your shopping easier when the sale opens up to you, go ahead and shop the preview of the sale now and add items to your “wish list”! Then, when the sale opens up, you can go back to your wish list and everything will be saved there for you.
What I’ve Got On My Wish List
My plan is to just get a couple of things that I have my eye on for fall that I’ve wanted for a while. If you’re wanting to grab some staples, this is also a good time to get things like long sleeve tees to layer for fall & winter. Sharing some things below I think would be great picks or that I would recommend because they are such great deals!
White Booties
I’ve been wanting a pair of white booties for well over a year now but never found the right pair. I LOVE these Marc Fisher ones and have my fingers crossed they don’t sell out before I can get mine! They are soooo gorgeous and almost $100 OFF regular price! They come in other colors/prints too…but I need the white *insert heart eyes emoji*
Running Socks
I order new running socks every year during the NSALE…not because they are particularly expensive to begin with, but because now that I’m on this cycle, the ones I buy usually last me a year or so and then I just get new ones at a discount! I really love these Zella ones.
Patagonia Items
Now is 100% the best time to get Patagonia gear because it rarely goes on sale. Almost all of the Patagonia gear I own I got from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…super quality outdoor gear and worth every penny at full price, so even better at a sale price. I am in LOVEEE with this jacket. I already have a down Patagonia jacket, but feel like I love this copper colored one so much I might sell the other so I can have this one 🙂
Cardigan
If you’re looking for a great cardigan, I highly recommend this one. I have it from last year’s sale in green and it’s so comfortable & soft. I love the longline style of it. And I lurrrrrve this color for fall! Comes in a ton of colors though and is only $39 during the sale.
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
I got these faux leather leggings during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale manyyyyy years ago…I think 2015?! And I have worn them every year since. Great to dress up or down!
Dry Shampoo
This is my favorite dry shampoo, and so I’ll probably get this double size version of the bottle on the sale price because it’s definitely something I’ll be spending money on anyways. So getting this one saves me money in the long run.
Uppababy Vista Stroller
This is the stroller that we have and we have loved it. It’s another item that you will be hard-pressed to find on sale! I only have good things to say about it…and I love this color combo!! Great for either gender.
