Things I Use Everyday That I (Almost) Never Talk About

I’ll be honest, the idea for this blog post came to me while I was in the shower, with my hair pulled back in my favorite little clips.  It occurred to me that I LOVE those clips and I have never once mentioned them to you.  And I use them basically every single day!  So that got me thinking about other things and I’ve compiled them all into this post all about things I use everyday that I never talk about.  Or, at least, they are things I don’t talk about that MUCH.  I hope you find some of it helpful!!

Things I Use Everyday That I (Almost) Never Talk About

Hair Clips:  The inspiration for this post.  I mostly use these when it’s not a hair wash day and I want to keep my hair from getting wet in the shower.  I feel like these don’t crease your hair like elastics can, and help me keep any curls/waves that I’ve done in tact better, too.  They don’t pull and my hair is pretty thin and they hold it back really well.  These clips would also be great if you have thicker hair for when you’re blow drying or curling to separate them into sections.

Summer Fridays Cleanser: I am obsessed with this cleanser.  I feel like I have searched high and low to find a good cleanser that is gentle but also effective.  I love how gentle this is, it’s made with all clean ingredients, and my skin feels so good after.  It even does a great job at taking off makeup, which I find is a challenge for gentle products.  Also, it smells amazing.  It’s on the pricier side but a little bit goes a long way so it’ll last you.

Lash Primer:  Okay I don’t use this *everyday* because I don’t put on makeup everyday.  But when I do put on makeup, I use this.  So, most days of the week.  In a society where eyelash extensions rule but my wallet won’t pay for refills every 3 weeks, I really love that this lash primer makes your lashes look longer and thicker.  Put this on first and then apply mascara…it’s magical.

Charcoal Dry Shampoo: I’ve mentioned this before but I think it’s worth saying again…such a good smelling and gentle product and really absorbs oil!

Lip Sleeping Mask: Might have mentioned this once before, but I love this lip mask!  My lips are forever feeling dry and I can’t stand it!  I put this on before bed and it’s super hydrating.  Comes in a few scents too.  All so yummy.

Dry Volume Blast: Okay I’ve definitely talked about this on my IG stories at least a handful of times but Y’ALL.  This is the best volumizing spray in the game.  I’ve tried a lot.  Some come close, but this one has always edged any others.  Not sticky, truly a dry volume.  Be sure to follow the instructions on the bottle to achieve the most voluminous look.

Perfume:  This is my favorite perfume…I wore it on our wedding day for the first time and then Craig & I both loved it so much that I wear it as an everyday thing now too!  FYI: they slightly changed the formula since I bought it, and now it is slightly more floral than it used to be.  It wasn’t floral at all before but it still smells lovely and I’d still recommend it!  One spritz on the wrists is all you need.
