Updated Skincare Routine

It’s been a little while since I shared what I’ve been using on my face so I thought I’d do a little updated skincare routine!  These are the products I use right now and I am pretty happy overall with how my skin is looking considering all the hormonal changes from pregnancy and everything!

Current Skincare Routine

• Cleanser: Have been using this cleanser for over a year and I love it.  As with all Beautycounter products, a little goes a long way and so it lasts me a long time.
• Moisturizer: I started using this Drunk Elephant Whipped Cream Moisturizer a few weeks ago and I am IN.LOVE.  I am not exaggerating when I say I noticed a difference just after 2 times using it.  Seems to instantly brighten skin and leaves a really smooth finish.  Super hydrating without being oily at all and also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
• Peel: The Overnight Resurfacing Peel is truly my holy grail product.  It does basically everything…helps with breakouts, exfoliates, smoothes skin’s texture, reduces dark spots, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, brightens skin.  I use this every other night after I wash my face but before I put on my moisturizer.
• Masks:
  • Rose Face Mask – I love this it smells SO GOOD seriously like a fresh bouquet of roses.  It tones and hydrates your face and I think just leaves it feeling really smooth and soft.  I do this in the shower a couple days a week.
  • Charcoal Face Mask – this one is really good at both preventing and treating breakouts.  I try to use it once a week (which would be ideal but #newbabylife leaves me neglecting this sometimes!!) or every other week.  It cleans out the junk in your pores and tightens your skin.
• Eye Cream: I’ve been using the Rejuvenating Eye Cream for over a year now and I really like it. Very hydrating and gentle.  I plan to try out the Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream next time I need to buy though, because again #newbabylife and this mama always looks exhausted, ha.  Need something a little more heavy duty that is still nontoxic and gentle!!

Then one thing I neglected to put in the picture but it’s seriously an obsession of mine is this lip sleeping mask.  I cannot sleep with my lips feeling dry so I put this on every night before bed.  I leave it on my nightstand.  I also wear it during the day because its just so smooth.  Worth every penny and a little bit goes a very long way!
