Front Porch Fall Decor & An Easy Pumpkin DIY

Hey loves! Popping in to share some snaps of my current fall front porch situation.  I LOVE decorating for fall and I’m also a big fan of a neutral look in general (for Christmas I usually like the whites, golds, & silvers) so I wanted to put together a little front porch set up that was also more neutral but still felt like autumn.

Naturally, the first stop was to the local pumpkin patch!

So many different beautiful pumpkins!!! I wanted them all.

In case you don’t already know, black is one of my favorite colors and it also just feels “right” because it’s a Halloween color.  Since pumpkins aren’t generally naturally black, all I needed was a can of black spray paint!

I just put the pumpkins out on some old cardboard so I wouldn’t spray paint the driveway black (not sure Craig would love that!)  It just took a couple hours and they were dry!  Easy peasy.  Now I want to spray paint like every piece of decor I have, LOL.  I have some rose gold spray paint…I may have to see what I can come up with 😉  DIY decor doesn’t get any easier than that.

All of the above pumpkins are real except the small green one at the bottom.  That I got at Michael’s last year, but how perfect is it to tie in with the bigger green one?  The hay bale was actually a leftover one from a bunch Craig grabbed at Lowe’s that we spread out on the yard to grow some new grass.  When life gives you a leftover hay  bale, you should definitely use it on your front porch!

The other side of my porch is a more traditional Halloween look for when we have trick-or-treaters in a few weeks.  A standard big orange pumpkin, with some smaller fake & scary jack-o-latern pumpkins…and a mini RIP sign. Couldn’t help myself.
