Recently I was approached by an ambassador of Noonday Collection. Her name is Mallory and she is local to Charlotte. I get a lot of emails and messages from people selling things as part of their “side hustle” and wanting to partner with me to further promote their businesses. As a general rule I say no, because I want to be fair to everyone and if I said yes to everyone that asked me, I would literally be doing nothing but promoting other people’s businesses. So bear with me as I make a little exception for this as something different just called to me about it.
Perhaps it’s that Noonday Collection partners with Artisan Businesses that share their passion for building a flourishing world ro make a difference in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. They develop these businesses through fair trade, empowering them to grow sustainably and to create dignified jobs for people who need them. You can read more about fair trade and how they work here. So I just felt like it was something that I had never personally heard of before and something I felt could be a good thing to talk about, because hey, if you’re going to shop, shopping with a purpose and to help others is a great reason, right??

1. Shop. Your purchases change lives across the world. All of the pieces are handmade by artisans in 13 different countries and each have a unique story. The purchases you make supports them, their families, and their communities. In addition you are giving them hopes to dream again!
2. Host a show. Hostesses open up their homes, invite friends and family, and have the opportunity to shop an international marketplace full of beautiful handmade accessories. As a hostess you work closely with an ambassador to make the show a success!
3. Become an ambassador. As an ambassador you are the one creating these marketplaces for people to learn about our artisan partners and what they are doing in their communities. When you become an ambassador, you yourself join a community of women across the country who believe in the vision of Noonday Collection where women are empowered, children are cherished, people have jobs, and we are connected.
