J’aime My Hair Care Product Review

Franck Provost Paris sent me product for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

I’m always on the lookout for new products that can make my hair healthier, shinier, and all around more beautiful! So when I was offered to try the new J’aime My hair cair line by Franck Provost Paris, I agreed!  Specifically, the Color Gloss & Protection CC Cream Leave In Treatment and Volume Hold & Texture Leave In Conditioner.  I felt like these would be great finds to try out because my hair is colored (I do it myself!) and it’s also very fine, thin hair.  So having something that helps protect it because it’s color treated AND something else that can give me some volume is definitely up my alley.

Here are my thoughts on them!

Color Gloss & Protection CC Cream Leave In Treatment:

This treatment is designed to “associate the rich texture of a cream and the lightness of a serum for daily bright hair. Also offers UV protection to help prevent damage from the sun. Your hair will feel and look amazingly soft and shiny.”  I have to agree about this!! I had heard of CC cream for your skin but never knew you could find it for your hair! Perhaps I have been living under a rock.  I noticed the texture of my hair was certainly softer and shinier, even after day 2 of not washing it.  My hair is usually always really shiny and soft right after washing as I’m sure most people’s hair is more soft and shiny right after a wash, but when I really noticed it was day 2 or 3 after the wash it still being shinier than usual.  I think a prolonged use of this cream would be super healthy for your hair!  Also, with summer coming up and being outside, this cream can also protect against UV damage…so it’s sort of like sunscreen for your hair!

Volume Hold & Texture Leave In Conditioner:

This leave in conditioner is designed to “untangle and help invigorate and strengthen hair fibers with its exclusive formula rich in wheat proteins, Ginseng and Nettles.”  I have just been spraying my hair with it before I blow try and it gives it a voluminous boost.  As someone with thin, fine hair, I feel like I’m on a perpetual quest to find something that gives my hair volume without making it sticky or greasy.  This helps give it some more life at the roots instead of it looking flat on my head.  I think because this is a combination product of a voluminizer and conditioner, it gives hair that extra oomph but doesn’t make it sticky or tangly.

I think also that the combo of the CC Cream with the Leave In Conditioner is a great pair. Also I have to mention how GOOD both products smell! I’m not really sure how to describe what they smell like, but it’s just that really refreshing, yummy smell that you smell in really good, high quality hair salons.  Because they use the good stuff, and that’s what this is!  After all, Franck Provost is the #1 salon in France so that seems to make sense!!  I don’t know about you, but I don’t care how effective or awesome a product is, if it doesn’t smell good I am just not going to use it.
