Fave Finds Friday

Happy Friday!!! We made it 🙂

I have a whole bunch of favorite things I want to share with y’all today…just some things I’m lovin’ lately everywhere from smoothies to home decor to makeup and more.

1. Kevita Kombucha.  This ginger kombucha is so yummy.  I got it at Harris Teeter and the ginger flavor is so good.  It’s definitely a filling drink so I like to have it with a salad at lunch a lot of days a week and it helps keep me fuller into the afternoon!

2. Terra Lip Sheer.  I’m obsessed with this lip sheer.  It is so soft on your lips, it almost feels like a cloud.  I don’t know how else to describe it!! Not greasy like some chapsticks but so smooth.  And this might be weird, but I think it smells so good too! Never a bad thing for your lips to smell nice 🙂  This color is Terra and I love that it’s a great neutral color with a touch of pink.

3. Clean Juice Smoothies.  In particular The Double One.  OH how much I loved this! I got the biggest size aka bigger than my head.  It has Spinach, Swiss Chard, Banana, Almond Butter, Maple Syrup, Almond Milk, and protein powder.  I am definitely going to try to recreate this at home some time, only because the Clean Juice location is currently a little far from me, but they are opening one nearby soon so…hello addiction!! Ha!

4. Master Bedroom progress.  We moved into our first home in November and it’s still coming together.  Our master bedroom is making progress as we finally got our king bed and mattress a few weeks ago.  I really want to change out the lamps and get some nice artwork or something to go over the bed.  Will keep you all posted as it continues to get better but I’m loving the bed as it is now!

5. Let’s Stay Home.  More home decor picks!! I got this print here, I used shutterfly to print it out and got a frame from Michaels.  I love how it looks on the mantle.  So cozy and homey!!!

6. My favorite running shoes are currently on sale!  These are an older model but I find they work best for me…and the good news about getting an older model is generally you don’t have to pay as much for them!  Good by me!  They are on sale here and here.

8. My favorite protein powder.  I am obsessed with Growing Naturals protein powder.  It’s hands down my favorite and I have never found one I like more.  I generally get the vanilla brown rice protein powder as my mainstay but have some other flavors too! They are great for baking treats or changing up the smoothie routine.  I used the strawberry one for this strawberry banana smoothie.

9. My HUSBAND!  He is always one of my favorites, but today is his 30th birthday and for that he is even more special than on a normal day 🙂  We are going out to dinner tonight to a fun spot and have this delicious birthday cake, made by me, for dessert!! It’s the same one I made on my birthday, except I dressed it up a little differently with icing and more masculine sprinkles  as compared to the pink one I put on mine! 🙂  But seriously, it’s the best cake ever.  Make it.  You don’t need a birthday (we’ve just used it as a reason to make it almost 2 weeks in a row).
