Are 3-day weekends the best thing ever or what?
Craig and I stayed in on Friday night and had Chinese food & some wine while we watched a movie. Craig did the Dri Tri (kayak-mountain bike-trail run) triathlon at the US National Whitewater Center on Saturday morning.
He did a great job! We celebrated with a brunch at The Flying Biscuit.
Then we were off to Durham for the weekend to see our parents! Craig’s rents came to stay with mine and we had a great time, including drinks atop The Durham Hotel!
And y’all. Look at Maverick…poor baby got bitten by a snake a couple of weeks ago and has been in this splint/cast thing. It’s sad but also he is just so darn cute anyways!
I’ve also already gotten 2 days of workouts in so far. I took Saturday as my rest day instead of Sunday, so on Sunday I did a 7.25 mile run in my new shoes 🙂 Linked below!
And Monday morning I did a 30 minute circuit workout plus some extra booty work!
We are back now and doing some errands & chores to get ready for another week. We are getting closer and closer to the wedding, eeeee!!!!
