This weekend we wanted to get outside so we headed west to the NC mountains and even some in to the Tennessee mountains! Friday we camped in Linville Gorge area and then got up Saturday morning and headed to Roan Mountain in Tennessee. We took our backpacks and saw some amazing views. It’s definitely nice to get out and away from the usual routine of every day life and disconnect! On our way back to Charlotte we stopped in Morganton at Fonta Flora brewery. I got a mango kombucha that they brew…yummy.
Sunday night Craig grilled zucchini and bacon-wrapped filet mignon on the grill and I made some green beans as a side. Plus some Carnivore red wine which is an amazing red to pair with steak, in case you are interested!
