I personally love that graphic tees are in right now.  I mean, anytime anything comfortable is considered stylish is just a cherry on top because most likely if it’s comfortable, I’m already wearing it!  Sharing a few of my favorite graphic tees that are great for fall and that are affordable.  No one needs to spend $100 on a t-shirt.  I mean, it’s just a t-shirt.  Here are some of my favorites!  Sharing links to ones I have and other cute ones you might like.

SQUAD Sanderson Sisters Shirt – Love this for Halloween!  It runs small…I’m in a size Large so size up one or if you want an oversized look, size up 2x!  Only $15.

TAKE ME TO THE MOUNTAINS Shirt – So appropriate year round really but especially in the fall when I really start to get the itch to get up to that crisp mountain air!  Again I’m in the large and it runs small so size up.  Comes in a bunch of colors!  Only $11!

Mountain Print Tee – Love this simple tee with the print of the mountain range.  Really understated if big graphics on your shirts isn’t your thing.  Really comfy, too!  The burgundy color in real life is SO pretty.  I’m in the large, again it runs small so size up This one is $9.

Also…it’s the LAST WEEK of the first round of Fitter!! How cute is this teddy jacket? I have kinda been living in it. Perfect to throw over your activewear for a quick & warm athleisure look.  It’s only $33 too, and I’m in a size small for reference.  I could definitely have worn the medium for a more oversized look but wanted this one to fit more like a bomber jacket.  I’m 5’9″ if that helps with sizing.  Also if you haven’t already jumped on the scrunchie train, what are you waiting for?! Ha This is seriously my favorite trend making a comeback.  The fifth grader in me is V happy about it.  They’re actually better for your hair than those small rubber hair ties too, since they are softer and they don’t break your hair as much. When I sleep with my hair up I always wear a scrunchie and I also think you can make them look really pretty…for example I wore one in my hair on Thanksgiving and dressed it up with a twisty bun. It was cute!

• T3 Singlepass Curl 1.25″ Professional Curling Iron – Expensive yes, but during the sale now’s the time to get it. I love this thing.
• MARC JACOBS BEAUTY Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Sugar & Spice: Spiced Rose – I love Marc Jacobs lip color and there are SO many shades…I love spiced rose for a flirty fall color that you can go ahead and wear now!
• GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD® Activated Charcoal Treatment – This is my go-to mask…I use it as a spot treatment or as an all over mask and it seriously takes away pimples/bumps/acne as it tries to form or shortens the life span of those that already exist!
• KÉRASTASE VIP Texturing Hair Spray – Texture spray is my new favorite thing…gotta get that messy hair look down
• TARTE Creaseless Under Eye Concealer – again…undereyes made better!

Summer 2018 has been one of the most adventurous and memorable seasons of my life; everything from a 10-day trip to Italy, to exploring the Colorado Rockies as well as the south west Colorado terrain, to weekend warrior trips in North Carolina to find local gems for hiking and camping.  There hasn’t been much down time, that’s for sure, but life is for living and adventuring, creating new memories from experiences that will last you a lifetime.  Being able to do new things this summer with my friends, family, and husband has been nothing short of a blessing. 

The trips I’ve been on this summer all have different things in common. They always teach me something new about myself, they always reinforce just how good being outside and exploring is for the soul, and they all have a very similar packing list when it comes to my staples.  Packing light is a necessity (we even did the 10 days in Italy in a carry on bag!) and so having items that are versatile and durable is a must….bonus points if they are also stylish and comfortable!  That’s why I have a few go-to pieces that are always in my bag, because I know using the best gear and apparel for whatever adventure I’m on will make sure I’m always able to get outside and explore.

The gear I always have with me are things like my Patagonia Better Sweater, comfortable sneakers & leggings, a hat, tees & tanks for layering, and a durable duffle bag to keep it all together!  Here’s why these things are always in my adventure bag:

The Patagonia Better Sweater is one of the most versatile, stylish, and comfortable pieces of clothing I have in my closet.  It comes in a ton of colors but this neutral hue is the one I love the most! It can be dressed up for nicer occasions or you can put it to the test for a weekend backpacking trip.  It’ll keep you warm as the temperatures begin to drop!  I love the sporty look of it and it will last you just as long as the memories you make wearing it.

Another Patagonia item I have to have with me is a trucker hat!  It is perfect for keeping the sun off your face, shielding your tired eyes on a redeye flight home after a spontaneous trip out west, and also hiding your dirty camping hair.  I have a few of these hats and I love them.

Tank tops and tees are always a must because they pack up really small and are great for layering.  Since I have to be active and find exercise each day, whether it be a run around a new place or a hike up a new mountain, I always come prepared with the right apparel.  This tank top is one of my favorites not just because it is great to workout in, but it’s also a really cute athleisure piece that you can dress up to look more trendy with sneakers & a jean jacket.  Then this t-shirt is just a staple for any outdoor exploration!  I like wearing tees a little big and they’re great to match with leggings too!

Speaking of athleisure, these sneakers really complete that look! Since we are always on the go, having comfortable walking shoes is definitely a must-have.  I also love these because they’re so comfortable to throw on after a long hike!

Leggings are always a must for me, as I’m sure you already know! These moto leggings are extremely functional and extremely cute! They’re a great item to throw in a bag for a weekend trip because you can take them out exploring or layer with the Better Sweater and sneakers for cute and comfy dinner attire.

I also love these leggings for a cozy night by the campfire.  They’re so soft and fit just right…so I can go from the campfire right into my sleeping bag!  I love leggings that can double as pajamas…but I wear Beyond Yoga leggings all the time and they can throw down with the toughest workouts, so they’re definitely a win-win!!

Obviously, no trip would be possible without the luggage to get you there! Craig & I both have this Patagonia Duffle bag and we love it particularly because it’s super roomy and can fit everything you need, but also because of the functional design.  You can carry it as a traditional duffle bag or you can wear it as a backpack using the removable, padded backpack straps.

1.Scented Candles.  Nothing quite completes the coziness of a fall day like a pumpkin-scented candle.  Below are a few of my favorites!  Things like cinnamon, apple, chai, pumpkin…ahh I can’t get enough!

2. This Cozy Scarf. Trust me on this…this will sell out in probably every color!  I have the tan one from last year, and just scooped the gray…and just put the black one in my cart. It’s the perfect scarf, so long and cozy and soft but not overly bulky. It is the best scarf I’ve ever had!

Also, this nubby cardigan is FINALLY back in stock!! It sold out forever so grab it now while you can. I am obsessed with it and wear it every day just around the house (will obvi take it outside once weather allows!)

3. Pumpkin treats & baked goodies.  I’ve linked some drool-worthy recipes I’ve found below:

4. Fall Home Decor. It might not feel like fall outside, but you can make it look like it on the inside!!  I’m loving rose gold, gold, and/or copper accents right now and it’s great for the season too. I think a decorative tablescape is one of the easiest ways to transition between seasons in your home. That, and some good throw pillows.  I am sharing some favorites below!

5.  Fall Hued Makeup.  I always love being able to use more earthy tones and darker lip colors in the fall! It’s so fun to play around with.  I just got this eyeshadow palette that has the best fall shades in it.  I also got the lipstick by that same brand, in the matte mauve color. So pretty!  This lip color in spiced rose is also beautiful.  Speaking of lip colors, I also have to admit I broke down and bought the Pumpkin Spice Kylie lip kit.  I searched for other pumpkin lip colors for fall and this one just seemed to have the best reviews for the price!  If you’re against giving a Kardashian your money, you can try this one instead
